We are looking for leadership of cancer registry east switzerland as of april 1 or by arrangement. The oldest cancer registry in switzerland develops the scientific data basis for a timely and spatial monitoring of population-based cancer incidence in the cantons of st. gallen, appenzell, ausser-rhoden, thurgau, glarus, and the principality of liechtenstein. Your tasks: operational leadership of the cancer registry ensuring data protection, data quality, completeness, analysis, and reporting according to internal, national, and international standards and guidelines. The cancer registry is responsible for the collection, processing, and provision of high-quality data on cancer incidence in the region. This includes the development and maintenance of databases, as well as the creation of reports and visualizations for stakeholders. Your responsibilities will also include the coordination with other institutions and organizations involved in the field of cancer research and prevention. The leadership of the cancer registry is responsible for ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including data protection and confidentiality. Your tasks will also include the development and implementation of strategies for the further development and expansion of the cancer registry, as well as the establishment of partnerships with other institutions and organizations involved in the field of cancer research and prevention.
