IT Service & Workplace Leadership (m/w/d)

Job description

In this key role, you will be responsible for leading the IT service department and significantly shaping the quality of a complex and growing IT organization. You will act as a central interface between IT, departments, and external partners and develop service processes consistently further. The focus is less on operational ticketing, but rather on steering, optimizing, and sustainable professionalization. A strong personality with high service orientation and strategic thinking is sought.

Tasks

  • Total responsibility for IT Service Management including technical and disciplinary leadership of teams
  • Steering and further development of Service Desk, Workplace & Client Management, as well as Scan-, Druck- und Output-Services
  • Establishment and implementation of an effective Incident- and Problem-Managements
  • Introduction and further development of SLA-, KPI- and Service-Reporting-Strukturen
  • Ensuring a consistently high service quality across all IT services
  • Analysis of weaknesses, derivation of measures, and sustainable problem-solving
  • Development and optimization of efficient support and service processes
  • Use of automation and establishment of KI-gestützter Serviceprozesse
  • Closely working with Infrastructure-, Security- and Application teams
  • Steering external service providers and manufacturers
  • Strategic further development of the entire IT Service landscape

Qualification

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification
  • Leadership experience in the IT service-, service desk- or workplace environment
  • Fundamental knowledge of IT Service Management (including ITIL, Incident & Problem Management)
  • Excellent understanding of modern Workplace- and Microsoft environments as well as Client- and Endpoint-Management
  • Experience in building and scaling efficient support organizations
  • Outstanding analytical skills and high quality awareness
  • Able to connect operational excellence with strategic further development
  • Affinity for automation, KI-gestützten services, and modern service platforms
  • Clear communication, assertiveness, and strong ownership
  • Hands-on mentality with sovereign appearance towards internal and external stakeholders
