Head of Building Services (m/f/d)

• Professional and organizational leadership of the Building Services department and management of daily workflows
• Ensuring the technical operational readiness of all buildings, systems, and facilities of the clinic
• Organization, monitoring, and documentation of maintenance, inspection, upkeep, and repair measures
• Obtaining, reviewing, and comparing offers, and preparing awarding decisions
• Communication and coordination with authorities, offices, experts, and other external contact persons
• Coordination, monitoring, and proper assurance of construction, renovation, refurbishment, and conversion measures
• Conducting regular technical inspections of the clinic and independently identifying and rectifying defects
• Organization and processing of technical fault reports and prioritization of necessary measures
• Participation in investment and maintenance planning, as well as creation of needs assessments for technical systems and equipment
• Monitoring of costs, budgets, and invoices within the area of responsibility, as well as checking the services rendered by external service providers
• Participation in measures to improve the energy efficiency and sustainability of clinic operations
• Close cooperation with clinic management, nursing, therapy, hotel services, housekeeping, kitchen, IT, and other specialized departments

• Completed technical or craft vocational training, for example, in electrical engineering, heating, ventilation, and sanitary engineering, building technology, construction, mechatronics, or a comparable trade
• Ideally, further training as a master craftsman, technician, or equivalent qualification
• Several years of professional experience in building services, building management, or facility management, preferably in a clinic, nursing home, hospital, or comparable facility
• Initial leadership experience, as well as the ability to motivate, coordinate, and deploy employees in a goal-oriented manner
• Knowledge of relevant legal regulations, inspection obligations, occupational safety, and security provisions
• Understanding of fire protection, operator obligations, and technical documentation requirements
• Experience in coordinating and managing external service providers, craft businesses, and maintenance companies
• Experience in accompanying construction, conversion, renovation, and maintenance measures
• Independent working style and the ability to identify, prioritize, and pragmatically solve technical problems
• Economic thinking and responsible handling of budgets, materials, and resources
• Good organizational skills and confident handling of multiple tasks and projects running in parallel
• Confident and friendly demeanor towards employees, patients, external service providers, authorities, and other contact persons
• Willingness to react flexibly to urgent technical disruptions or extraordinary events
• Proficient use of common MS Office applications; experience with a CAFM system is an advantage
• Driver's license class B
