CFO (m/w/d) Leadership of Finance & Controlling

The Innovative Energy for Pullach GmbH (IEP) is the municipal energy company of the municipality of Pullach im Isartal. Since 2004, we have been operating with deep geothermal energy the municipal district heating network.

We shape the energy of the future – sustainably, efficiently, and regionally.

The IEP is standing before a great growth through investments in renewable energy facilities and the construction of district heating networks.

Tasks

• Total responsibility for the strategic and operational development of the department as well as all related topics
• Responsibility for the entire company controlling, including all planning processes and standard reporting, accounting, and financial planning
• Preparation of economic calculations, decision-making documents, and evaluations of projects or investment proposals for the management board
• Preparation of committee reports as well as financial and results reports
• Counseling the management board on all financial and controlling-related questions regarding future company development and strategic decisions
• Fachliche and disciplinary leadership, motivation, and further development of employees in the area of responsibility, as well as continuous optimization of structures in qualitative and quantitative terms
• Expansion and maintenance of existing relationships as well as intensive communication with the municipality, banks, other financing partners, financial authorities, and auditors
• Ongoing market and competition analysis, ensuring compliance with legal framework conditions, and deriving corresponding action measures for one's own area of responsibility

Qualification

• Completed studies (Master/Diplom) in business administration, economics, finance/accounting, controlling, engineering or a comparable qualification. Experience from the energy sector is advantageous.
• Multiple years of professional experience in project and corporate financing, finance and treasury, controlling and accounting
• High IT affinity and very good, practical knowledge in handling ERP systems and financial software (DocuWare and Datev) as well as MS Excel
• Experience in managing projects, dealing with funding and municipal committees is advantageous
