The town of Eppingen is seeking a Head of the Municipal Daycare Center Elisabeth and Jakob Dörr (m/f/d) for an indefinite period and full-time as soon as possible.

• Independent leadership of the currently six-group facility as a manager in coordination with the facility provider
• Ensuring the educational, upbringing, and care mandate
• Cooperative and results-oriented leadership and further development of the Kita team of over 30 employees
• Management of personnel deployment
• Qualitative and service-related development and implementation of the pedagogical concept based on the Baden-Württemberg Orientation Plan
• Sharpening the profile of the facility and its external impact
• Responsibility for family support cooperation and communication with parents

• Completed degree as a social pedagogue* or childhood pedagogue* or state recognition as a childcare worker* or a comparable qualification as a pedagogical specialist according to §7KiTaG
• Several years of professional experience as a head* or deputy head* of a daycare facility is an advantage
• Participation in a qualification program for facility heads (Kita Management) is desirable
• Commitment and motivation to successfully utilize the existing scope for development of the facility with employees, parents, and the provider
• Cooperative leadership style and the ability to motivate the team
• Assertiveness
• High affinity for operational management and the use of digital processes
