Aufgaben

• You take over the professional and disciplinary leadership of an international accounting team.
• You are responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB as well as group-wide accounting guidelines.
• You analyze complex balance sheet and business transactions and develop well-founded recommendations for management.
• You ensure compliance with statutory requirements, internal guidelines, and proper financial reporting.
• You drive process optimizations, digitalization, and the continuous development of the accounting organization forward.
• You work operationally in daily business with and support your team in complex questions and closing activities.
• You develop internal control systems further and strengthen an efficient compliance and control environment.
• You coordinate cooperation with auditors, tax consultants, and international corporate functions.
• You advise internal stakeholders on financial matters and accompany cross-functional finance projects.
• You work closely with the Controlling and Finance departments and take on special projects for further developing the finance organization.

Qualifikation

• You have a completed commercial education with further training as an accountant (m/w/d) or a degree with a focus on accounting or finance.
• You bring several years of professional experience in a comparable leadership position in accounting.
• You have comprehensive knowledge of financial accounting according to HGB and prepare annual financial statements independently and securely.
• You ideally have knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS); experiences with French GAAP are advantageous but not a requirement.
• You bring experience in the corporate environment, ideally including collaboration with shared service centers.
• You work operationally, take responsibility, and actively support your team in daily business.
• You communicate securely in German (at least C1 level) and English (at least C1 level) and move confidently in an international environment.
• You work analytically, structured, and solution-oriented and maintain a overview even in challenging situations.
• You convince through leadership competence, teamwork, and a pronounced hands-on mentality.
• You work securely with ERP systems as well as the common MS-Office applications.
