Control System/OT Systems Engineer ABB 800xA (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Engineering, configuration, and lifecycle management of ABB System 800xA

• Integration of new plants, substations, data points, and control functions into existing control systems

• Engineering and parameterization of ABB AC800M controllers

• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation as well as functional descriptions

• Execution of system tests, commissioning, and fault analyses

• Support and further development of SCADA, control, and automation systems

• Collaboration on topics such as Industrial Networks, OT Security, and system availability

What You Bring

• Completed degree (FH/HF/ETH/TU) in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable technical qualification

• Several years of experience in the engineering or operation of ABB System 800xA

• Knowledge of process control technology, SCADA, and automation systems

• Experience with ABB AC800M, industrial communication protocols, and networks

• Knowledge in the commissioning of automation and control systems

• Structured way of working as well as understanding of critical infrastructure and industrial processes

• Very good German skills, English skills are an advantage

Your First Months in the Role

In the first few months, you will take over the support of automation projects with ABB 800xA and familiarize yourself with our customers' existing OT systems. You will build contacts within the team and coordinate closely with our project managers.
