Leader:in Environmental Planning / Landscape Planning

We are one of the central infrastructure actors in Germany and responsible for a nationwide significant transportation network. The regional unit in North Germany manages large new construction and expansion projects with high traffic, economic, and social relevance. The projects belong to the most important infrastructure projects in the region and will shape mobility in the north decisively in the long term.

Tasks

You will take on a key role within two major projects of high regional and supra-regional importance. You will lead your department strategically and operationally, steer goals, projects, and processes, develop structures further, and ensure that environmental planning is implemented in complex procedures in a solution-oriented and timely manner. At the same time, you are the central expert instance for planning- and environmental law-related questions. Your team currently consists of four employees and will be expanded to five positions. In the medium term, further growth is planned. Approximately two-thirds of your tasks will focus on project-based leadership tasks, one-third on internal steering, organization, and development.

Qualification

We are looking for a personality with a completed university degree in landscape planning, land conservation, environmental planning, environmental management or a comparable field. What is decisive is a solid professional foundation in environmental planning as well as a secure understanding of the interrelationships between planning, nature conservation, approval, and project management. Furthermore, we expect knowledge of relevant technical and legal regulations in environmental and planning law.
