PR & Social Media Leader

InkuPlay is a young eSports and gaming startup based in Biesenthal, Brandenburg. We develop a company at the intersection of eSports, Gaming, Community, Content, Events, and digital entertainment.

Aufgaben

As PR & Social Media Leader, you are responsible for the external communication of InkuPlay. You develop our communication strategy, build media contacts, and ensure that InkuPlay appears professionally, credible, and visible in press, public, and social media.

Your tasks include:

• Development and implementation of a PR and communication strategy for InkuPlay
• BUILDING AND MAINTAINING CONTACTS WITH JOURNALISTS, MEDIA, INDUSTRY PORTALS, CONTENT CREATORS, AND RELEVANT MULTIPLIERS
• Creation of press releases, statements, media briefings, company profiles, and communication materials
• Planning and implementation of social media strategies for platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and Discord
• Development of editorial plans, campaign ideas, and content formats
• Care and further development of public brand communication from InkuPlay
• Preliminary preparation of interviews, public appearances, panels, and media conversations
• Monitoring of media reports, social media trends, and industry topics in the gaming and eSports sector
• Community-oriented communication on social media
• Support for partner communication, event communication, and company announcements
• Crisis communication and reputation management in close coordination with management
• Guiding external service providers, agencies, or freelancers as needed

A existing network in gaming, eSports, tech, entertainment, media, or startup communication is a plus, but not a requirement.

Qualifikation

We are looking for a communicative personality who understands gaming and eSports, thinks strategically, and works hands-on.

You bring ideally:

• Experience in press work, PR, corporate communication, social media, brand communication, or a comparable field
• Very good language skills on German; English skills are an asset
• Understanding of gaming, eSports, creator economy, digital communities, and social media culture
• Experience in building or maintaining social media channels for companies, brands, teams, media, or communities
• Able to prepare complex topics in a clear, media-friendly, and target-group-oriented manner
• Experience with press releases, LinkedIn posts, social media campaigns, editorial plans, or communication concepts
• Strategic thinking, initiative, and structured work approach
• Sensitivity for trends, timing, tone, and public impact
• Mastery in handling sensitive topics and critical communication situations
• Pleasure in building communications structures in a young company from scratch
