Head of Human Resources (m/w/d)

Job description

Our client is a leading institution in the healthcare sector in the Munich area. The house offers highly specialized medical care and consistently drives digital transformation forward – also in the personnel department. The environment is meaningful, stable, and modern – with high service-, data-, and process quality and complex tariff frameworks. At the earliest possible time, we are looking for a Head of Human Resources (m/w/d) for the Munich location.

Tasks

  • In this role, you will lead a team of around 45 people in operational human resources management.
  • You will steer and develop operative personnel work with a focus on efficiency, service quality, standardization, and legal certainty further.
  • The leadership of central HR projects (digitalization, process optimization, introduction/development of HR systems) is part of this exciting task.
  • You will act as a competent point of contact for management staff in personnel and labor law matters.
  • You will ensure the implementation of statutory, tariff, and organizational innovations and work closely with internal and external partners.
  • With high design scope, you will develop operative personnel work further including: definition of standards and guidelines, harmonization of end-to-end processes, setting of KPIs/service levels, and system-based implementation.

Qualification

  • Multiple years of professional experience in operational human resources management, ideally in the public sector or hospital environment with.
  • A completed university degree (e.g. law, administration, business administration, personnel management, or comparable)
  • Very good knowledge of labor, tariff, and ideally civil service law.
  • Experience in leading complex HR projects and digitalization initiatives.
  • Outstanding leadership skills, decision-making strength, and high communication ability.
  • A structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style, as well as a strong service- and quality orientation.
