Tasks

• Strategic and operational leadership of logistics: You take overall responsibility for logistics and steer the areas of incoming goods, outgoing goods, and internal transportation.
• Führung and further development of the logistics organization: You lead your teams goal-oriented and develop the logistics organization continuously to strengthen efficiency, quality, and cooperation sustainably.
• Surety of a smooth material flow: You ensure reliable supply of production and timely delivery of our products along the entire value chain.
• Optimization of logistical processes and structures: By analyzing existing workflows, you identify potential for improvement and drive measures to increase efficiency and process optimization actively forward.
• Steering of logistical key figures and costs: You are responsible for relevant logistics KPIs, monitor inventories and performance, and steer the logistics budget with a focus on cost-effectiveness.
• Collaboration with internal and external partners: You work closely with sales and coordinate the cooperation of internal and external forwarding companies.

Qualification

• A successful education in the field of warehousing and logistics with several years of professional experience or a business studies degree or equivalent qualification
• You already have experience in leading and coordinating teams
• Safe handling of common MS Office products, ERP systems
• Customer-oriented thinking and acting
• High performance and commitment readiness as well as reliability
• A deep understanding of logistical processes and material flows, as well as analytical and structured working methods
• Communication strength, assertiveness, and a solution-oriented and self-responsible working method
