Tasks

Strategy:

• You are responsible for the performance of an inspection station cluster in the Frankfurt region (sales, quality, team, customer satisfaction).
• You lead and develop the team of inspection engineers (PIs) and inspection assistants (PAs).
• You combine operational work as an inspection engineer with clear management and control responsibility.

Leadership & Team

• Technical and disciplinary management of the PIs and PAs in your region.
• Recruiting, onboarding and further development of your team members.
• Clear vision, regular 1:1s, feedback and coaching.
• Building a high-performance, stable and motivated team culture.

Operational Control & KPIs

• Ensuring smooth processes at all inspection stations (capacity utilization, throughput, waiting times).
• Controlling the most important KPIs of your cluster:
• Sales Region & Sales/PI
• Utilization of lifting platforms
• Inspection quality
• Shift, vacation and deployment planning for your team.
• Operational support on site, e.g. in case of illness or vacation.

Customer & Market

• Ensuring a top service experience for B2C and B2B customers.
• Active expansion of existing customers and acquisition of new key partners in the region.
• Monitoring of NPS, evaluations, complaints and initiation of measures.

Entrepreneurial Responsibility

• Identification of growth levers and process improvements, close coordination with HQ (COO, Expansion, GTM, Product, People, Finance).
• Input on expansion, local market insights and product feedback from operations.

Qualification

• Successfully completed studies (mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering or similar).
• Completed training as a vehicle inspection engineer (e.g. via KÜS, TÜV, GTÜ, Dekra).
• Several years of experience as a vehicle inspection engineer, ideally initial management or location responsibility.
• Strong understanding of KPIs and economic contexts, desire for ownership of sales & bottom line.
• Driving licenses classes A, B and CE.
• Very good appearance, clear communication, German at least C1.
• Hands-on, pragmatic, but with high quality standards.
