Head of Controlling

For our client, a manufacturing company located in the greater St. Pölten area, we are seeking a Head of Controlling. In this leadership role, you will manage a small team.

• Responsibility for the entire controlling and reporting, including investment controlling
• Active participation in budget planning and the preparation of quarterly forecasts
• Creation of meaningful reports, (ad hoc) analyses, and key figures as a basis for operational and strategic management decisions
• Execution of target-actual comparisons, analysis of deviations or scenario analyses, and derivation of corresponding recommendations for action
• Creation, implementation, and continuous development of profitability, efficiency, and investment calculations, as well as reporting solutions and BI tools
• Preparation of relevant decision-making bases for management and specialist departments, and close collaboration with accounting
• Leadership and further development of the controlling team

• Several years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in a manufacturing company
• Studies in business administration with a focus on controlling, finance, and accounting
• Excellent understanding of business contexts and company key figures
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems
• Analytical mindset, strong organizational skills, and a high affinity for numbers
• Leadership experience and enjoyment in actively shaping change and driving innovation
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working

For this position, a gross annual salary starting from € 85,000,- (on a full-time basis) is envisioned. The willingness to significantly overpay according to your qualifications and professional experience is a matter of course.
