Production and Maintenance Manager (m/w/d)

QEMETICA Energy Deutschland GmbH belongs to the parent company QEMETICA Soda Deutschland GmbH & Co.KG and is one of the oldest companies in Saxony-Anhalt. The company's history dates back to 1882. Since 2007, the company has been part of the Polish chemical conglomerate QEMETICA. The QEMETICA Group offers high-quality chemicals such as soda, salt, polyester- and epoxidic resins, as well as other chemicals. These are used, among others, in the glass-, food- and furniture industries, as well as in the production of detergents, agriculture and construction. At the Staßfurt location, sodium carbonate, light soda ash and sodium hydrogen carbonate are produced.

Tasks

In this position, you will be responsible for leading the production and maintenance of our power plant at the Staßfurt location. Together with your team, you will ensure a safe, stable and economical operation of the facility and continuously develop processes and organization. You will ensure that our soda plant is supplied with steam and electricity.

You are responsible for approximately 30 employees and for the operational management and results of your area.

• Fachliche und disziplinarische Führung des Bereichs Produktion und Instandhaltung
• Sicherstellung eines stabilen, sicheren und wirtschaftlichen Anlagenbetriebs des GuD-Kraftwerks
• Verantwortung für die operative Steuerung, Kostenentwicklung und Einhaltung der Bereichskennzahlen
• Organisation und Weiterentwicklung der Betriebsabläufe inkl. Analyse und Umsetzung von Optimierungsmaßnahmen
• Aktive Einflussnahme auf eine effiziente Fahrweise der Anlagen zur Reduzierung von Energie- und Rohstoffeinsatz
• Sicherstellung der Einhaltung aller gesetzlichen Vorgaben und Genehmigungsauflagen (insb. Umwelt-, Arbeits- und Anlagensicherheit)
• Unterweisung und Weiterentwicklung der Mitarbeitenden in fachlichen sowie Arbeits- und Sicherheitsbelangen
• Verantwortung für Produktionsplanung, -abrechnung und Reporting
• Sicherstellung und Steuerung der Prozess- und Kostenkennzahlen
• Zusammenarbeit mit internen Partnern sowie fachliche Schnittstelle zu spezialisierten Funktionen (z. B. Energiemanagement)

Qualification

• Completed studies in the field of energy, power plant or process engineering or comparable
• Multiple years of work experience in the production or power plant environment
• First or comprehensive experience in leading teams in an industrial setting
• Experience in managing budgets and processes is advantageous
• Safe handling of MS Office and ideally SAP
• Good German and English language skills
• Structured, pragmatic working style and advanced problem-solving competence
