We are looking for an experienced, mid-sized leader who can steer our production with technical expertise, clear direction, and digital foresight.

Tasks

Your area of responsibility: Operational Excellence & Result-Oriented Leadership

In this key position, you will be responsible for the timely implementation of our customer projects and form the decisive interface between management, sales, and production teams.

• Leadership & Development: You will lead team leaders in production through clear goal agreements. Your leadership style is characterized by reliability, assertiveness, and a high level of professionalism in employee responsibility.
• Production Control & Planning: You will be responsible for the overall control of all production teams. In close coordination with the respective team leaders, you will ensure optimal personnel and machine planning.
• Process Optimization 4.0: You will drive the digital transformation (Automation, Smart Factory) forward together with our operations management and build lean methods to continuously improve quality, punctuality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Technological Innovation: You will identify potential for technological innovations, implement them together with the Infrastructure Department, and establish them sustainably in the production process.
• Safety & Standards: You will monitor the strict adherence to occupational health and safety regulations and quality standards and build clear documentation structures.

Qualification

Your Profile: Technical Expert with Experience in Modern Production Leadership

We are looking for an expert who combines fundamental technical knowledge with modern management methods to efficiently control production.

• Qualification: You have completed an engineering degree or have a vocational training in the metal industry with successful further education as a master or technician.
• Professional Experience: You have several years of leadership experience in a manufacturing company from the industrial mid-range (e.g. plant construction, precision mechanics, or machining). You are used to leading teams in a technically demanding sector and orienting them towards goals.
• Expertise: Fundamentally knowledge of machining, joining technology, and/or UHV technology is required. We expect you to be familiar with ERP systems (ideally SAP Business One) and common AI tools. Ideally, you also have experience with automated process workflows for calculation or preparation.
• Economic Knowledge: You have a well-developed economic understanding of production processes and understand how technical precision can be combined with cost-optimized working methods.
• Skills: You are characterized by a high sense of responsibility, a solution-oriented approach, and clear, binding communication.
