We are exclusively recruiting for a traditional, family-owned food production company in your location in the Lake Constance region.

Tasks

You will take overall responsibility for the production sites at your location, with direct reporting line to management and a clear focus on operations. We are looking for an experienced leadership personality with standing and willingness to shape, who is operationally effective and simultaneously develops the site strategically. The role offers genuine entrepreneurial responsibility with perspective.

In essence, this means:

• Operative and strategic overall responsibility for the production sites
• Direct leadership and development of local management teams
• Ensuring an efficient, stable, and economically viable operation
• Responsibility for KPIs, budget, and result development
• Identifying and implementing optimization potential along the entire value chain
• Closely cooperating with central functions and cross-functional coordination
• Promoting change processes and continuous improvement

Qualification

• Multiple years of leadership experience in a comparable overall responsibility. Ideally, in the pharmaceutical or food industry (FMCG).
• A strong operations focus with demonstrable experience in controlling and optimizing production processes
• Fundamental knowledge of quality and hygiene standards (e.g., IFS, HACCP) or similar regulated environment
• Strategic thinking ability while being operationally effective
• Hands-on mentality, high implementation orientation, structured working method
• A strong leadership and communication strength, experience in team development
• Experience in change management and continuous improvement
