VSE Verteilnetz GmbH is a wholly-owned subsidiary of VSE AG and a company within the VSE Group. As a regional grid operator, we are responsible for the operation of the 110 kV and 35 kV power grids with the functions of asset management, grid service, grid economics, and regulatory management. • Lead organizational unit – You will take over the leadership of the Operational Technology organizational unit, bearing personnel and budget responsibility. You will be responsible for the strategic further development of the organizational unit in light of future challenges in the context of the energy transition and digitalization
• Lead & develop employees – You lead and develop your team, inspire others, work effectively together, and actively promote knowledge sharing
• Ensure functionality of OT technology – together with the team leaders, you manage both the unit and service providers in day-to-day business, prioritize resources, and thus ensure that OT technology (OT systems, peripheral systems, transmission technology, cybersecurity) in our grids is always functional; you will maintain our high standards in occupational safety at all times
• Be responsible for OT architecture – together with your team, you will drive the necessary further development of the OT architecture for the energy transition in coordination with other organizational units, service providers, and in group-internal committees
• Harden OT systems – You actively participate in the ISMS information security management system and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Network & represent within the group – You represent VSE Verteilnetz in committees, form strong partnerships, and drive joint solutions forward

• Relevant degree (Electrical Engineering or Information Technology) (Dipl.-Ing. / Master) – successfully completed and a technical foundation for the leadership role
• Several years of practical experience in the operation of electrical grids and interdisciplinary projects – sound experience in the areas of electrical grid operation and the implementation of complex interdisciplinary projects
• Leadership personality – social skills and a motivating leadership style; you work in a growth-oriented manner and support your colleagues
• Passion for innovation & willingness to learn – You remain curious, question the status quo, react flexibly to changes, and strive for lifelong learning
