Head of Liquidity Control, Cash Management & Finance (M/F/D)

For a group of companies (large volume, but manageable group with 10 subsidiaries or holdings) based in Berlin, we are looking for you as

HEAD OF LIQUIDITY CONTROL, CASH MANAGEMENT AND FINANCE (M/F/D).

The owner-managed company is predominantly active in the development, rental and support of real estate, as well as in other industries and employs a total of approx. 70 employees.

The full-time position is to be filled as part of personnel placement. This means: You have a permanent employment relationship with your new employer from the start, who would like to employ you for many years.

Tasks

Voilà, this is what your new job looks like!

• You take over the overall commercial responsibility for some of the affiliated companies and are the first point of contact for all matters relating to the finances and payment flows of the group of companies
• You are an economic helmsman and companion in the development and support of real estate projects (residential and commercial)
• You plan and control liquidity, allocate financial resources and monitor bank accounts
• Accordingly, the large payment flows of the group of companies are in reliable hands with you
• You are the competent preparer and negotiator with the banks when it comes to financing
• You largely prepare the monthly and annual financial statements, which are prepared by the external tax advisor. In addition, you actively participate in the ongoing financial accounting
• For the support of the real estate projects, you take over budgeting and project controlling
• You also monitor the income
• In addition, you lead and develop a team of eight employees
• Finally, you are both a competent contact and sparring partner for the management and for some of the managing directors of the affiliated companies.

Qualification

This is what you bring to the table:

• You have at least five years of professional experience in a comparable position, e.g. as Head of Finance & Controlling
• Ideally, you have already gained professional experience in the real estate industry
• You have a good understanding of accounting, also based on practical experience in connection with the preparation of financial statements and ongoing financial accounting
• You have at least a good basic understanding of contract law or, ideally, practical experience
• Legal understanding and knowledge of real estate law would be the icing on the cake!
• You communicate verbally and in writing in very good German
