Head of Construction Process Engineering & Assemblies (m/f/d)

Our client is an internationally active, economically successful industrial company that develops and produces technologically sophisticated components and system solutions for various industrial applications.

The company stands for high technical competence, quality, and customer-specific solutions. To further strengthen the technical department, we are looking for an experienced leader as Head of Construction (m/f/d).

Responsibilities

• Technical and disciplinary leadership of the construction department; active development of employees and collaboration.
• Management and prioritization of construction projects from the concept phase to handover/delivery, including resource planning.
• Ensuring quality, punctuality, and implementation of requirements in close coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Close collaboration with project management, production, sales, and development; structured coordination of interfaces.
• Further development of construction standards, tools, processes, and guidelines for continuous improvement.
• Support of the team in complex issues (e.g., assembly/plant construction, variants, change management).

Qualifications

• Completed degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering) or comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in construction in process plant engineering (including supplier environment) as well as in a leadership role.
• Very good knowledge of CAD (preferably SolidWorks) and PDM.
• Leadership competence, clear communication, structured way of working.
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken.
