Job description
What awaits you?
- Leadership, development, and motivation of the entire department, including the Technical Project Managers as a second management level
- Steering of capacities, priorities, and deadlines across all ongoing projects
- Ensuring a smooth interface with Project Management, Sales, Purchasing, Production, and Quality
- Further development of processes, standards, and methods in engineering, documentation, and quality pre-planning
- Driving force for on-time delivery, efficiency, and quality in project execution
- Escalation point for technical and organizational conflicts
- Budget and resource responsibility for the department
What should you bring?
- Completed technical degree (Mechanical Engineering or similar) or technician with corresponding further training
- Several years of leadership experience in an engineering or project-driven environment, ideally with leadership over team leaders
- In-depth understanding of engineering processes, without having to perform operational engineering yourself
- Strong skills in organization, prioritization, and multi-project management
- Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and a natural drive to push things forward
- Experience in process optimization and change management is an advantage
- Fluent German, good English
