Head of IT Security (m/f/d)

Our client is an internationally active manufacturing company from the Heilbronn area, which, with its technically innovative products, is one of the market leaders in its industry worldwide.

As Head of IT Security, you will develop global security strategies and bear significant responsibility for the international IT security architecture. You will be involved in the planning and implementation of IT security projects and have the opportunity to significantly shape the long-term orientation of IT security with your expertise.

Tasks

• Development and operational implementation of a cyber security strategy
• Monitoring of the system landscape and implementation of appropriate protective measures, also in the production environment
• Risk analyses and assessments
• Creation and implementation of security guidelines
• Organization of access rights
• Management of external service providers
• Participation in projects
• Technical leadership of employees

Qualification

• Several years of relevant professional experience in IT/OT security in a manufacturing company
• Very good knowledge of IT/OT security standards (e.g. ISO 27001, IEC 62443 or NIST SP 800-82)
• Experience with network security concepts
• Technical leadership experience
• Independent working style
• Very good analytical skills
• Very good communication skills
• Negotiation-level German and very good English skills
