We, Michael Krohn Consulting, are a recruitment agency acting on behalf of selected clients.

We are seeking on behalf of a large international retail group for the nationwide Real Estate Management portfolio manager (m/w/d).

The Portfolio Manager (m/w/d)

Tasks

  • Coordination and control of commissioned external architects, engineering firms, and service providers.
  • Leadership of the Real Estate Project Manager.
  • Monitoring of the physical and technical condition of properties, including conclusion, optimization, and control of maintenance and service provider contracts.
  • Organization, commissioning, and implementation of maintenance and repair measures.
  • Planning and implementation of modernization, conversion, and expansion measures for locations in Germany.
  • Cross-sectional project management, including cost, deadline, and capacity planning, as well as compliance with approved budgets.
  • Drafting of tenders.
  • Tight cooperation with internal departments and local responsible persons on technical building topics.
  • Preparation of reports and overviews, presentations, and decision-making documents.
  • Reporting to the management board.

Qualification

  • Completed technical or real estate economics studies with a focus on facility management, architecture, civil engineering, or project management.
  • Alternatively, a completed vocational training with further education/advanced qualification in the field of facility management (e.g. technician/master in the field of building technology/TGA or comparable qualification).
  • Multiple years of professional experience, ideally in modernizing commercial buildings / ideally in the automotive retail sector.
  • A high level of technical competence and experience in the technical administration of commercial properties.
  • Fine, deadline- and cost-oriented working style.
  • Solution-oriented working style / hands-on mentality.
  • A high level of self-reliance, reliability, flexibility, and commitment.
  • Routine handling of MS Office.
  • Nationwide travel readiness.
  • Linguistic skills in English and/or French are advantageous.
