Head of Finance (m/w/d)

Tasks

The Head of Finance is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the financial and accounting functions of Deutsche Investment Group. A central focus lies in adapting and restructuring the finance department following a change of ownership - from an owner-managed environment to the requirements of an ECB-regulated German bank. This includes implementing new/adapted regulatory standards, building an adequate internal control system, and harmonizing reporting-, compliance- and governance structures.

The expectation is optimizing and standardizing financial processes, particularly for monthly, quarterly, and annual statements. This also includes the further development of digital tools and automation solutions to increase efficiency, transparency, and audit security.

Qualification

• Completed degree in business administration, ideally with a focus on finance/accounting, or equivalent qualification
• Multiple years of experience in the field of financial accounting and ideally in a leadership position
• Very good knowledge of HGB, tax framework conditions, and accounting standards
• Practical experience in object-based or real estate accounting is advantageous
• Experience in introducing or replacing accounting systems is desirable
• Structured, solution-oriented, and self-responsible working style
• Safe handling of accounting software (DATEV, SAP, and MS Excel)
• You are a recognized leadership personality with leadership competence, decision-making strength, team orientation, good communication skills
