We are looking for you as

Head of Financial Accounting (m/f/d) with Experience in Process Optimization

for a small company with numerous subsidiaries in a sustainable industry environment and located in Stuttgart city center.

The full-time position offers you a home office component of one day per week after successful onboarding. Additionally, you will receive 30 vacation days.

Depending on your skills and professional experience, you can earn up to €90,000 p.a. here.

The position is to be filled through personnel placement. This means: You will have a permanent employment contract with your new employer from the very beginning, who wishes to employ you for many years.

Responsibilities

Voilà, this is what your new job looks like!

• You will lead the financial accounting for the parent company as well as for subsidiaries
• You will manage a team of five employees, for whom you will be a competent point of contact
• Among other things, you will be responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code)
• You will support your team in day-to-day operations through your own work
• You will contribute your experience to further process optimization, including through the use of AI
• Other tasks may be added depending on your experience, skills, and wishes (feel free to express your expectations in an on-site job interview).

Qualifications

What you bring with you:

• You have at least four years of professional experience in a comparable role, including independent financial statement preparation, regardless of whether you have previously managed a team disciplinarily or functionally
• Additionally, you have already gained experience in process optimization in conjunction with the use of AI
• You communicate orally and in writing in very good German
• We are happy to forgo the usual personal attributes at this point and would like to get to know you as a person. What is important initially is that you are eager to work with nice colleagues and are an absolute team player who enjoys further developing professionally.
