Head of Financial Accounting (m/f/d) with Process Optimization Component (Home Office Share)

We are looking for you as

HEAD OF FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING (M/F/D) with input for further process optimization

for a healthy and sustainably operating company in the renewable energy sector with approx. 50 employees and prime location in Stuttgart-City to work in a large finance team.

The full-time position offers you a home office share of one day per week after successful onboarding. In addition, there are 30 vacation days.

The position is to be filled through personnel placement. This means: You will have a permanent employment contract with your new employer from the very beginning, who would like to employ you for many years.

For better readability, all subsequent designations are addressed to all genders.

Responsibilities

Voilà, this is what your new job looks like!

• You will lead the financial accounting for the main company as well as for subsidiaries
• You will manage a team of five employees, for whom you are a competent point of contact
• Among other things, you will be responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB (German Commercial Code)
• You will support your team in ongoing daily operations through your involvement
• You will contribute your experience to further process optimization, including through the use of AI
• Additional tasks may arise depending on your experience, knowledge, and wishes (feel free to articulate your expectations in an on-site interview).

Qualifications

This is what you bring to the table:

• You have at least four years of professional experience in a comparable role, including independent financial statement preparation, regardless of whether you have previously managed a team disciplinarily or functionally
• In addition, you have already gained experience in process optimization in conjunction with the use of AI
• You communicate fluently in spoken and written German
• We gladly forgo the usual personal attributes at this point and would like to get to know you as a person. What's important initially is that you are eager to work with nice colleagues and are an absolute team player who wants to develop professionally.
