Head of Financial Accounting (m/f/d) in Stuttgart-City (Home Office Share)

For a smaller company with numerous subsidiaries in a sustainable industry environment and located in downtown Stuttgart, we are looking for you as

Head of Financial Accounting (m/f/d) with experience in process optimization.

Depending on your skills and professional experience, you can earn up to €90,000 p.a. here.

The full-time position offers you a home office share of one day per week after successful onboarding. Additionally, there are 30 days of vacation.

The position is to be filled through personnel placement. This means you will have a permanent employment contract with your new employer from the beginning, who wishes to employ you for many years to come.

For readability, all subsequent designations apply to all genders.

Responsibilities

Voilà, this is what your new job looks like!

• You will head the financial accounting for the parent company and its subsidiaries
• You will lead a team of five employees, for whom you will be a competent point of contact
• Among other things, you will be responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB (German Commercial Code)
• You will support your team in the ongoing daily business through your own work
• You will contribute your experience to further process optimization, including through the use of AI
• Additional tasks may arise depending on your experience, knowledge, and wishes (feel free to articulate your expectations in an in-person interview).

Qualifications

What you bring with you:

• You have at least four years of professional experience in a comparable role, including independent preparation of financial statements, regardless of whether you have previously managed a team disciplinarily or functionally
• Additionally, you have already gained experience in process optimization in conjunction with the use of AI
• You communicate orally and in writing in very good German
• We gladly dispense with the usual personal attributes at this point and would like to get to know you as a person. What is important initially is that you are enthusiastic about nice colleagues and are an absolute team player who wishes to develop professionally.
