For a sustainably operating and healthy company with a prime location in Stuttgart-City and approx. 50 employees, we are looking for you to join a large finance team as

Head of Financial Accounting (m/f/d), incl. for further process optimization.

Depending on your skills and professional experience, you can earn up to €90,000 p.a. here.

The full-time position offers you a partial home office of one day per week after successful onboarding. In addition, you will receive 30 days of vacation.

The position is to be filled through direct placement. This means: You will have a permanent employment contract with your new employer from the beginning, who would like to employ you for many years.

Responsibilities

Voilà, this is what your new job looks like!

• You will lead the financial accounting for the parent company as well as for subsidiaries
• You will manage a team of five employees, for whom you are a competent point of contact
• Among other things, you will be responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB (German Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• You will support your team in daily operations through your involvement
• You will contribute your experience to further process optimization, including through the use of AI
• Further tasks can be added according to your experience, knowledge, and wishes (feel free to state your expectations in an on-site job interview).

Qualifications

What you bring with you:

• You have at least four years of professional experience in a comparable role, including independent financial statement preparation, regardless of whether you have previously managed a team disciplinarily or functionally
• In addition, you have already gained experience in process optimization in conjunction with the use of AI
• You communicate orally and in writing in very good German
• We are happy to dispense with the usual personal attributes at this point and would like to get to know you as a person. What is important initially is that you are eager to work with nice colleagues and are an absolute team player who wants to develop professionally.
