For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced leader as Head of Development & Construction. In this key position, you will assume technical and organizational responsibility for the development and construction department and actively contribute to the company's technical future. You can expect a long-term perspective, modern work tools, and considerable scope for action.

Tasks

Development and construction of systems, apparatuses, and special solutions

Creation of technical drawings, parts lists, and P&ID flow diagrams

Execution of feasibility studies and technical calculations

Creation and maintenance of technical documentation as well as CE certifications

Project management until successful handover

Technical leadership of the construction team

Responsibility for CAD and PDM systems

Close collaboration with production, project planning, suppliers, and customers

Support for technical and strategic development projects

Qualification

Completed training as a designer or comparable technical basic training

Further education as a HF Technician in Mechanical Engineering or a degree as a Mechanical Engineer

Several years of experience in construction and development in plant, apparatus, or mechanical engineering

In-depth knowledge of sheet metal and welding construction

Very good user skills in SolidWorks

Experience with PDM systems is an advantage

Leadership experience or willingness to take on leadership responsibility

Good German language skills, both spoken and written

Good English language skills

Independent, structured, and precise way of working

High level of initiative and strong team spirit
