Team Overview

Purpose and Responsibilities:
Our Operations Planning is part of the network planning and ensures that FlixTrain's journeys are operationally stable and commercially successful. As Team Leader, you will take over the professional and personal leadership of the operations planners:innen and coordinate central tasks such as schedule and shift planning, as well as track management.

Impact on the Organization:
You significantly influence the success and growth of FlixTrain through stable planning processes and efficient resource allocation. Your work contributes to the scalability of the journey operation and passenger satisfaction.

Tools, Platforms or Processes:
We work with systems like TPN (Track Portal Network) and FBS (Fleet Management System from iRFP) as well as common MS Office applications. Close coordination takes place with DB InfraGO and internal teams such as personnel planning, the control center, and production.

About the Role

• Fachliche und personelle Führung der Betriebsplaner:innen
• Verantwortung für unterjährige Fahrplan-, Schicht- und Trassenplanung ab dem VNP
• Organisation betrieblich notwendiger Infrastrukturressourcen und Dienstleistungen
• Erstellung von Personaleinsatzkonzepten und Schichtplänen für das Zugpersonal
• Sicherstellung der Einhaltung des Sicherheitsmanagementsystems (SMS) und des Betriebsregelwerks (BRW)
• Planung von Abstellkonzepten und Versorgungsprozessen im Jahres- und unterjährigen Fahrplan
• Kontinuierliche Optimierung von Prozessen, Tools und Arbeitsabläufen zur Skalierung des Betriebs
• Regelmäßiger Austausch mit DB InfraGO zur Sicherstellung qualitativ hochwertiger Fahrplanunterlagen
• Prüfung von Rechnungen der Infrastrukturbetreiber

About You

• Completed studies or training in the field of traffic/transportation or logistics
• Multiple years of experience in operations planning in rail passenger or freight transport
• Experience in team leadership and development
• Knowledge of TPN, FBS, or comparable planning software
• Fluent German language skills, English language skills are a plus
• Team orientation, communication strength, and sense of responsibility
