For this place to function every day, it needs people who take responsibility, act with foresight, and ensure that everything in the background reliably interlocks. For this, we are looking for a personality who leads and actively develops our Administration & Operations department.

Your Task

As Head of Administration & Operations, you will take on the personnel and technical leadership of the department and a central hub function within Kornfeld.

You will

• organize and be responsible for our administrative and operational processes and continuously develop them,
• be responsible for the organizational and operational preparation, execution, and post-processing of our auctions,
• coordinate bidder management, transport, shipping, as well as VAT, import, and export processes,
• ensure attentive and professional support for our clients,
• work closely with the Head of Operations & Finance and the Management Board,
• maintain an overview even during intensive auction phases and ensure reliable operations,
• drive process improvements and digitalization together with us.

What You Bring

We are looking for a personality who shows initiative, takes responsibility, recognizes connections, and implements decisions bindingly.

You have a commercial or comparable education, several years of experience in an administrative or operational responsible function, as well as leadership experience. You work in a structured, foresighted, and solution-oriented manner, possess strong organizational and process competence, and convince through high service orientation and professional appearance.

We expect very good German skills as well as good English and French skills. Experience in the auction, transport, or service sector is an advantage. Knowledge of the art market is welcome but not a requirement.
