FARMERS Food is a mid-sized family-owned company with its headquarters in the Münsterland region. We produce high-quality products from poultry meat in certified production facilities and ensure reliable delivery of qualitative products.

40 colleagues currently ensure a smooth workflow and excellent service for our customers. Flat hierarchies and a relaxed work atmosphere are part of our daily routine. To strengthen our growing team, we are looking for a Leader Accounting and Finance (m/w/d).

Aufgaben

• Responsibility for the financial and accounting department as well as controlling at Farmers Food and Farmers Petfood GmbH.
• BUILDING, LEADING AND DEVELOPING YOUR TEAM – FROM SELECTING NEW COLLEAGUES TO INDIVIDUAL FOSTERING.
• Responsibility for timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitoring all accounting activities (main book, creditors, debtors, asset accounting) as well as setting up a standardized reporting system.
• Analyzing operational and free cash flows and deriving recommendations for management.
• Participation in standardizing and digitalizing accounting and cash flow processes across all companies.
• Presentation of regular financial reports.
• Contact person for tax consultants, auditors, and authorities; ensuring compliance with all tax and commercial law requirements.
• Promoting automation and digitalization in accounting.

Qualifikation

• Completed education or studies with a focus on Finance/Accounting or equivalent qualification (e.g. accountant, tax consultant).
• Multiple years of leadership experience in accounting, preferably in a mid-sized company group or IT/service sector.
• Very good knowledge of commercial and tax law (HGB), IFRS expertise is advantageous.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and systems like DATEV and MS 365.
• Understanding of the connections between balance, profit and loss, and cash flow – and the ability to derive concrete measures from this.
• Leadership strength: clear, empathetic communication and joy in developing employees.
• Analytical, strategic thinking paired with practical implementation competence.
• Readiness to bring impulses as a sparring partner for management and actively drive digitalization in accounting forward.
• High willingness to critically question existing processes.
