Senior Project Leader Photovoltaic Commercial and Large-Scale Systems (m/w/d)

The Apricus Solar AG is a growing company in the field of photovoltaics and renewable energies with its headquarters in Dortmund. We implement commercial photovoltaik projects and large-scale systems from 1 MWp and continue to build our internal project organization.

We are looking for an operationally strong project leader with an electrical engineering background, who leads their own projects independently and coordinates two other project leaders professionally.

This role is not just a leadership position at the desk. You lead your own projects, make decisions, structure workflows, and ensure that projects are implemented cleanly, economically, and on schedule.

Your task: You take over the complete operational responsibility for your own photovoltaik projects in the commercial and large-scale systems sector from 1 MWp.

In addition, you lead a small project leadership team consisting of two other project leaders professionally and with light disciplinary responsibility. You ensure clear priorities, clean project status, uniform standards, and reliable implementation.

Tasks

• Self-led direction of photovoltaik projects from 1 MWp from preparation to commissioning
• Complete operational project responsibility for your own projects
• Steering of deadlines, costs, quality, project progress, and open points
• Coordination of internal and external project participants
• Synchronization with customers, network operators, service providers, planners, suppliers, and assembly partners
• Technical and organizational steering of the project development
• Self-led clarification of technical, financial, and organizational issues during the project course
• Setup and maintenance of clean project structures, project plans, and status overviews
• Risk recognition, escalation management, and introduction of concrete countermeasures
• Fachliche Führung und Koordination von zwei weiteren Projektleitern
• Leichte disziplinarische Führungsverantwortung im kleinen Projektleiterteam
• Sicherstellung einheitlicher Arbeitsweisen, Standards und Übergaben im Projektmanagement
• Regelmäßige Abstimmung mit Geschäftsführung, Vertrieb, Technik und Umsetzungspartnern
• Weiterentwicklung unserer Projektprozesse im Bereich Gewerbe und Großanlagen

Qualification

• Experience in project leadership or construction management of technical projects
• Electrical engineering background, for example from electrical engineering, renewable energies, TGA, or comparable technical fields
• Experience with photovoltaik projects, ideally in the commercial or large-scale systems sector
• Understanding of construction workflows, electrical installation, assembly, network connection, and project development
• Able to lead projects independently from start to finish
• Experience in coordinating customers, service providers, planners, suppliers, and internal teams
• Able to prioritize multiple parallel topics cleanly and consistently follow up on them
• Structured, self-responsible, and solution-oriented working style
• Clear communication and assertiveness

• Sicherer Umgang mit digitalen Tools, Projektlisten, Excel und Projektmanagementsystemen
• Very good German knowledge in writing and speaking
• Driver's license class B
• Pertinent backgrounds: Project Leader Photovoltaik, Construction Manager Electrical Engineering, Project Leader TGA, Electrical Engineer, Master Electrical Engineering, Technician Electrical Engineering, or Technical Project Leader in the field of renewable energies
• A study is advantageous but not necessarily required. What matters more are operational strength, electrical engineering background, construction management experience, and genuine project responsibility
