As Senior Physician Internal Medicine / Emergency, you will take on a central role in the medical team and actively shape both the clinical daily routine and the development of the department. Spital Dornach is located in immediate proximity to Basel and combines an attractive working environment with very good accessibility.

What you will achieve with us

• Expert, quality-oriented care of inpatients in Internal Medicine, the emergency department, and the Intermediate Care Unit (IMC)
• Taking responsibility in clinical daily life and supporting the medical, organizational, and personnel management of the department
• Leading and mentoring resident and attending physicians and fostering their professional development
• Active participation in the further development of structures, processes, and treatment standards
• Promoting close interprofessional collaboration with nursing, therapy, diagnostics, and other specialized disciplines
• Participation in the physician on-call service and ensuring reliable medical care together with the team

What you bring

• Specialist title in General Internal Medicine (for foreign diplomas, with MEBEKO recognition)
• In-depth clinical experience in Internal Medicine and ideally in Emergency Medicine
• Many years of experience at an attending physician level or in a comparable role
• Enjoyment of leadership, training, and interprofessional collaboration
• Decisiveness, sense of responsibility, and a solution-oriented work style
• Open, committed communication and a respectful approach to patients and employees
• Interest in not only ensuring medical care but actively developing it further
