Apprentice in the Profession Floor Layer (m/w/d)

The VKMB operates and creates the technical framework conditions for medical care at one of the largest hospitals in Europe - every single day. We are THE partner in the healthcare sector. For our location in 1090 Vienna, we are looking for apprentices starting August 2026 (or by arrangement): Floor Layer/Innen who lay linoleum-, rubber-, and laminate floors etc. in living spaces and public areas. They remove old coverings, install new ones, and ensure that the floors are properly prepared for use. The work is carried out in accordance with the relevant regulations and standards. The apprentices will be trained in the following areas: - Floor laying techniques (linoleum, rubber, laminate) - Preparation of subfloors - Installation of underlays - Removal of old coverings - Cleaning and maintenance of floors - Use of specialized tools and equipment. The apprenticeship lasts 3 years and is divided into theoretical and practical training. During the apprenticeship, the apprentice will work in a team with experienced floor layers and will be responsible for their own work. The apprenticeship is aimed at young people who are interested in the construction industry and want to gain practical experience in this field. We offer a comprehensive training program that includes both theoretical and practical training. Our goal is to train skilled workers who can take on responsibility and work independently. The apprentices will be trained by experienced instructors and will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in various areas of the construction industry.
