Your future tasks

• You advise, inform, and assist our customers before or during their journey.
  
• You plan travel itineraries and create suitable offers and tickets.
  
• You are responsible for the safety and ticket inspection on the train.

What you absolutely need for this

• You enjoy looking after and advising customers.
  
• You get along well with people and don't lose your cool in conflict situations.
  
• You have good English skills and possibly prior knowledge of another foreign language.
  
• You are interested in geography and enjoy traveling.
  
• You navigate the digital world without guidance.
  
• You have the necessary physical prerequisites.

• You will work in four areas of activity: as a travel consultant at the ticket counter, a customer service agent, a train attendant, and an office clerk.
• You will receive two apprenticeship qualifications as a Travel and Mobility Services Clerk by Rail and an Office Clerk.
• You have the option to choose an apprenticeship with Matura (high school diploma equivalent).
  
• You have diverse development opportunities within the group.
  
• You receive free travel throughout Austria on ÖBB trains.
  
• You have the opportunity for an international internship in your 3rd year of apprenticeship.

Vocational school is in Vienna and changing practical training locations are in your region.

Apprenticeship starts in September 2027

The apprentice salary for the Travel and Mobility Services by Rail apprenticeship is per month/gross (as of December 2025):

• in the 1st year of apprenticeship at € 916.70
  
• in the 2nd year of apprenticeship at € 998.66
  
• in the 3rd year of apprenticeship at € 1,335.41
  
• in the 4th year of apprenticeship at € 1,799.67
