Legal Risk / Compliance Coordinator

Position Purpose The Legal Risk / Compliance Coordinator is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and assessing the company’s legal risks through the Risk Control Matrix (RCM) , ensuring legal compliance and effective risk mitigation. This position will also serve as a key point of contact with the headquarters in Japan. Key Responsibilities Review, analyze, and validate commercial, civil, labor, and service agreements, identifying legal risks and proposing mitigation strategies. Prepare legal documents and reports for internal stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including external counsel and regulatory bodies. Provide training and guidance on legal risk management best practices to employees. Monitor and report on legal risk trends and developments. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed. Key Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field. 3+ years of experience in a similar role. Strong understanding of legal risk management principles and compliance regulations. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Proficiency in MS Office applications. Japanese language proficiency is an asset.
