Legal Project Manager – Factory Setup | Midea Group Midea Group is one of the world’s leading home appliance and air solutions companies. As part of our expansion in Mexico, we are looking for a Legal Project Manager to support and lead the legal and regulatory aspects of new factory construction projects. Key Responsibilities Lead legal and regulatory processes for new factory construction projects in Mexico. Manage government permits and approvals (construction, EIA, fire safety, utilities, operations, and other necessary permits). Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Ensure that all necessary documentation is prepared and submitted in a timely manner. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, suppliers, and contractors. Provide guidance and support to the project team on legal and regulatory matters. Monitor and report on project progress, identifying potential issues and proposing solutions. Key Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field. At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of Mexican laws and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Asana, Trello) is an asset.
