Legal Product Manager | Legal Engineer (Lawyer/in) (m/f/d)

Hopkins is a law firm operating throughout Germany, specializing in the rights of private individuals. Founded in 2019 by Arend Liese, formerly a lawyer at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Hopkins rethinks the concept of a law firm and legal enforcement daily – with a strong focus on modern technology and interdisciplinary collaboration. With a team of more than 150 people, Hopkins advises and represents private individuals nationwide in all legal matters.

Responsibilities

• You are part of the mission to redefine the future of legal advice for private individuals

• You will work directly with management and optimize legal processes using our proprietary software, create templates, and automate workflows, primarily with no-code tools and increasingly also through programming (JavaScript)

• You will strategically utilize AI tools, develop and test prompts, and create AI-powered solutions that make our workflows more efficient

• You will support our software clients, assist them in working with our software, and resolve functional and technical questions

• You will act as an interface to stakeholders in the core business (lawyers, paralegals, engineers, etc.), clarify their requirements, organize, and prioritize the backlog

Qualifications

Do you want to combine your legal knowledge with your passion for programming?

As a lawyer/jurist with at least the 1st state examination or a degree in business law or comparable studies, you bring curiosity and openness to technology and digitalization. You have extensive knowledge of and understanding for legal processes, but are also capable of questioning them. You have an exceptionally conscientious and structured way of working and are able to communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders.

In addition to your legal understanding, you also have an understanding of economic contexts, and the Pareto principle is not a foreign word to you.

Prior knowledge of JavaScript or other programming languages is an advantage, but not a requirement. The willingness to acquire this knowledge is necessary.
