About Buena

Buena builds technology that makes property management easier and more transparent. To achieve this, we take over property management companies throughout Germany and further develop processes together with their teams. We combine on-site experience with our own software that reduces workload in daily operations. With each additional management company, the demands on our processes also grow – and this is exactly where you come in.

Your Role

As a Legal Operations & Compliance Intern, you will work with our Legal Counsel to ensure that Buena is legally and organizationally well-positioned, even with rapid growth. You will bring order to the documents and open issues of our holding companies and property management firms, and implement legal requirements together with our teams into concrete processes.

You will take on your own clearly defined tasks and work directly with Legal and our operational teams. Legal assessments and decisions are made by our Legal Counsel; you will create the informational basis and drive implementation forward.

You do not need to have studied law or have prior legal knowledge for this. Whether you come from business, operations, finance, or another analytical field: the decisive factor is that you understand quickly, work meticulously, and bring things to completion. You will learn the legal context with us.

What You Will Do With Us

• Create an overview: You will record the contracts, permits, and certifications of our companies and make it visible what information is available and what is missing.

• Advance topics: You will procure documents, coordinate with our teams and property management companies, and follow up on open points until they are clarified. If necessary, you will also work on-site with the teams for this.

• Prepare audits and implementation: You will prepare information for our Legal Counsel, coordinate agreed-upon compliance measures, and document progress.

• Improve processes: You will develop simple standards, overviews, and workflows for recurring tasks together with Legal.

For example: You will create an overview of the required certifications for several property management companies, clarify missing documents with the teams, and develop a process with Legal to keep the overview up-to-date in the future.

• You use technology confidently: You work with Excel or Google Sheets and common AI tools.

• You speak fluent German and very good English.
