Legal Director LATAM

Job Description The role of Legal Director - LATAM is a broad in-house role comprising legal/commercial/compliance responsibilities within the John Crane division and will involve advising and supporting the John Crane businesses across Latin America. The role will be located in Mexico City and the successful candidate will be expected to work from our office at least 4 x days per week. The role encompasses two key areas: (i) the day-to-day proactive management of legal and quasi legal matters that may arise within the region, including contract negotiations, dispute resolution, and compliance with local laws and regulations; (ii) providing strategic advice on commercial transactions, joint ventures, and other business initiatives to drive growth and profitability. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the John Crane businesses, as well as other stakeholders across the organization, to ensure that legal and commercial objectives are aligned and achieved. This role requires a high level of expertise in Latin American law and regulations, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
