Legal Counsel

LHH SUGAR Holdings S.r.l., part of the Sugar Group, active globally since 1932 in the music industry and audiovisual production, has entrusted LHH Recruitment Solutions with the exclusive task of searching for a Legal Counsel. Responsibilities The resource, reporting to the Legal & Business Affairs Director, will provide legal support and counseling to the Sugar Group companies, specifically handling the following activities: - drafting and reviewing a wide range of commercial contracts and managing related deadlines for the Group's legal agreements; - managing disputes and interacting with external law firms; - monitoring regulatory compliance in privacy matters and tracking legislative developments regarding copyright and intellectual property rights; - preparing and monitoring licenses related to the rights of Sugar Group companies, aiming at the best protection of these assets; management and monitoring of trademark registration and preparation of licenses for Sugar Group company rights. The resource will manage internal relations with Legal & Business Affairs Director, A&R Label Office, A&R Publishing Office, Marketing Office, Licensing Office, Copyright Office, Finance Office; external relations with Producers, Artists, Authors, Right Holders, Agencies, External Law Firms and other third-party interlocutors involved in contract negotiations and finalizations. Your Profile The sought-after profile should include the following requirements: - Master's degree in Jurisprudence; - at least 6/10 years of experience gained within legal departments of structured companies operating in the music or entertainment sector or within specialized law firms, all within teams focused on the above-mentioned themes; - in-depth knowledge of copyright laws, intellectual property rights, and record contracts. - professional knowledge of English (written and oral). Admission to the bar and/or attainment of a Master's degree in first or second level in the field of corporate contractualism, copyright law, music law will be considered a plus.
