AGM Legal (Non-Litigation)

Job description

We’re looking for a AGM Legal (Non-Litigation) with a largest infrastructure conglomerate with a diversified presence across Real Estate, Airports, Energy, Transportation, Urban Infrastructure, and Sports. Job Summary: The Legal role in the Real Estate business is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, drafting and reviewing contracts, managing litigation, and providing legal guidance to safeguard the company’s interests. This position involves close coordination with various stakeholders, including but not limited to, real estate developers, architects, engineers, contractors, and other professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of real estate law, contract law, and corporate law, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills. Key Responsibilities: • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in the Real Estate business. • Draft and review contracts to ensure they are legally binding and compliant with relevant laws and regulations. • Manage litigation and provide legal guidance to safeguard the company’s interests. • Provide legal advice and support to the Real Estate business, including but not limited to, real estate developers, architects, engineers, contractors, and other professionals. • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that all projects are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner. • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and partners. • Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations affecting the Real Estate business. • Provide training and guidance to junior lawyers and support staff as needed. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) or equivalent. • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the real estate industry. • Strong understanding of real estate law, contract law, and corporate law. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
