Legal & Compliance Officer - IFN VIACONTO MINICREDIT S.A.

Join our dynamic team as a Legal & Compliance Officer and play a crucial role in ensuring our company's legal integrity and regulatory compliance. You will be at the forefront of advising management and ensuring all activities align with Romanian and EU regulations.

• Ensure the legal continuity of operations, including licenses and regulatory approvals.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients and service providers.
• Provide advice on commercial, civil, administrative, and labor law issues.
• Monitor and implement changes in Romanian legislation affecting the business.
• Represent the company with regulators, courts, and other authorities.
• Monitor national and EU legislation, updating internal policies accordingly.
• Draft, implement, and update policies on AML/CFT, KYC, fraud prevention, ethics, and conflicts of interest.
• Ensure clients fulfill contractual and regulatory obligations.

Requirements:

• Law degree (mandatory).
• 3+ years of experience in legal and/or compliance roles, preferably in financial services or fintech.
• Knowledge of Romanian and EU financial regulation, AML/CFT, consumer protection.
• Fluency in Romanian and English.
• High ethical standards, independence, and a proactive approach.
