You know legal work from your own experience and want to reshape it with technology. Together with lawyers, software engineers, and AI/ML engineers, you will analyze complex legal and consulting processes, structure legal knowledge, and develop digital products, automations, and AI-supported workflows from it.
You will take responsibility from technical conception to rollout and ensure that technological solutions are legally sound, user-oriented, and truly helpful in everyday work. If you want not only to apply law but also to change the way it is applied, we look forward to receiving your application.

• Analysis and modeling of legal workflows and identification of suitable automation and AI use cases
  
• Translation of legal requirements, decision logic, and expertise into structured processes, specifications, and product requirements
• Conception and further development of digital Legal Tech and Legal AI products together with tech, product, and domain teams
• Structuring of legal content, documents, and data as a basis for digital workflows, knowledge systems, and AI applications
• Development and testing of prototypes, for example in the form of AI systems
• Technical conception of prompting, retrieval, and evaluation approaches for legal use cases
• Execution and documentation of technical quality tests, as well as systematic evaluation of the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of the results
• Support of pilot projects, rollouts, and user feedback with the goal of high acceptance in consulting practice
• Close collaboration with lawyers, software engineers, AI/ML engineers, and business stakeholders
• Ensuring responsible, confidential, and traceable AI use in the law firm environment

Technical and Professional Qualifications

• Completed studies in law, business law, or a comparable legal qualification
• Several years of practical experience in a law firm, legal department, Legal Tech organization, or comparable legal environment
• Strong understanding of legal working methods, documents, quality requirements, and decision-making processes
• Ability to structure and abstract complex legal content and translate it into clear requirements or decision logic
• Practical experience with Legal Tech, process automation, knowledge management, or AI-supported legal applications
• Technical understanding of data structures, APIs, software architectures, and the lifecycle of digital products
• Experience with Prompt Engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, evaluation frameworks, or agent workflows
• Nice to have: Basic knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or a comparable programming language
• Nice to have: Knowledge of document processing, e.g., with PDF, DOCX, XML, or CSV, as well as parsing or OCR
