Job description

The company you will be working for as an apprentice commercial vehicle mechanic is a leading player in the transport sector, specializing in the maintenance and repair of rolling stock. From trucks and buses to trains and industrial machinery, they ensure that customers' equipment is always in optimal condition. To strengthen the team, we are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice commercial vehicle mechanic.

You will work under the guidance of experienced mechanics and will be given the opportunity to further develop yourself within the profession. Your tasks will include:

  • Performing inspections, maintenance, and repair work on various vehicles and machines;
  • Diagnosing and rectifying faults in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems;
  • Replacing and repairing parts and components;
  • Carrying out tests and test drives to ensure the quality of the work;
  • Accurately documenting work activities and reporting to the supervisor.

Preferably, you possess all the requested requirements below, but if you also enjoy tinkering with anything that has an engine in your free time, you are more than welcome to apply.

  • You have a completed technical education at MBO level (intermediate vocational education), preferably in the direction of vehicle technology, automotive technology, or mechanical engineering;
  • You have an affinity with rolling stock and are motivated to specialize further in this area;
  • You possess basic skills in mechanics, hydraulics, and electronics;
