Job description
The Opportunity
As our full time, permanent Learning Experience Coordinator, based in our Brisbane CBD head office, you’ll support our progressive and authentic firm as we champion what’s right. You’ll work closely with the Head of Organisational Development and Innovation and a team that’s not just focused on training – but actively shaping the future of work at Shine.
In this role, you’ll coordinate and provide operational support for the internal and external learning, process and change programs here at Shine, to drive the success of our people.
You’ll be responsible for coordinating the end-to-end learning program across Shine, including our webinar program, team days, and formal learning programs. You’ll take responsibility for scheduling external training and conference requests, and work with our external panel of specialist providers for learning content (coaches, external trainers, and content creators ).
You’ll work closely with the rest of the Organisational Development team, to ensure facilitators and presenters are prepared, and provide administrative support to the team, maintaining the team inbox and responding to queries.
As our resident Learning Management System (LMS) and Knowledge Management (KM) expert, you’ll maintain users across our various systems as part of our onboarding and offboarding processes.
You’ll be exposed to business process improvement, too – supporting the team with the development of quality business process content and learning resources and assisting to maintain relevant intranet content.
We value people who are naturally curious and open to new ways of working. An interest in technology, including AI, and a collaborative mindset, will be highly regarded as we continue to evolve and modernise our approach.
Your personable, friendly nature will ensure that our people feel supported in their learning journey, whilst establishing key skills for their success at Shine. Experience in the legal field isn’t required – we know you’ll be able to pick up new knowledge and concepts quickly.
What you’ll bring. To thrive in this role, you’ll have:
Here are some of the things we hope you’ll love about working with us:
Excited to join us and stand up to injustice? Apply now and make Shine a place for you.
As part of The Circle Back Initiative, we want you to feel supported through our recruitment process, which means that you will hear back from our friendly team – no matter the outcome.
We are committed to making Shine Lawyers a place for you by encouraging and supporting our people to bring their authentic selves to the workplace, and as a result, we know you’ll put your best self forward while righting wrong for our clients. We’re passionate about maintaining a diverse and inclusive environment here at Shine that celebrates all of our differences with age, disability, ethnicity, gender and sexual orientation, to name a few, and we encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates. You bring you.

What you’ll bring. To thrive in this role, you’ll have:
- Prior experience in an administrative or coordination role is highly desirable, but not essential for success
- A strong focus on stakeholder servicing, with a client focussed approach
- Proactive and strong ability to multi-task, manage and prioritise multiple stakeholders, requests and initiatives simultaneously
- Organised and attentive to detail scheduling skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in your written communication
- The ability to learn new systems, software and programs quickly
- Previous experience working or supporting content systems including LMS or process would be an advantage but not essential
- A curiosity and interest in emerging tech and future focused ways of working
- A team focused mentality, and an ability to work effectively as part of an immediate and wider team
- It’s our clients, who summon the courage to stand up to injustice.
- It’s the communities we are part of and support every day.
- It’s our team, who champion what’s right and make this place what it is.
Here are some of the things we hope you’ll love about working with us:
- Connect and be you: Get the flexibility and benefits you need, and work alongside truly authentic people who care so much - about the clients, Shine and you. You’ll enjoy the safety and security of a large, well-established firm that treats you as a person, not a number.
- Challenge and be challenged: We’re not here for “easy”. We want you to take your place at Shine and make a real impact. Question and challenge - that’s how we grow.
- Achieve and grow: Start your Shine journey with our award winning in-house learning programs, where you’ll find immediate connection and be set up for success. You will be provided real opportunities to step up and grow - within your role and beyond.
