Lean & Continuous Improvement Engineer

For a major Italian manufacturing industrial group, with an international presence and characterized by a strong culture of innovation, we are looking for a:

Lean & Continuous Improvement Engineer

The resource will join the dedicated continuous improvement team and will have the opportunity to contribute concretely to the optimization of production, logistics, and organizational processes, operating across multiple group plants.

The Role

We are seeking a person who has already gained experience in production contexts and wishes to take an active role in managing and implementing improvement projects.

The figure will be directly involved in plant activities, collaborating with Production, Quality, Logistics, Engineering, and Management to identify inefficiencies, implement corrective actions, and monitor the achievement of objectives.

This is not an exclusively analytical role: the person will be required to work on the field, leading cross-functional project teams and fostering the involvement of various company functions.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordinate continuous improvement projects within the group's various production sites.
• Analyze operational processes and flows, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvement.
• Promote and implement Lean Manufacturing methodologies.

Requirements

• Degree in Management Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.
• At least 3 years of experience in roles such as:
• Continuous Improvement Specialist;
• Lean Specialist;
• Operational Excellence Specialist;
• Process Engineer;
• Industrial Engineer.
• Knowledge of the main Lean Manufacturing methodologies (5S, Kaizen, VSM, SMED, Kanban).

Considered a plus

• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certifications.
• Experience in structured metalworking or manufacturing companies.
• Knowledge of main industrial production processes.
