Leader Supply Chain Operations, Americas

Our growing manufacturing client is hiring a Supply Chain Operations Leader, Americas who will lead all supply chain activities for three manufacturing sites across the Americas, establishing synergies between sites to improve efficiency and reduce costs. This leader will drive S&OP processes, manage material budgets, and oversee supplier performance for both direct and indirect materials, ensuring on-time delivery for commercial and defense aerospace programs. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business objectives, leveraging data insights to optimize operations and improve customer satisfaction. Supply Chain Planning: Lead the development of comprehensive supply chain plans, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and logistics optimization. Material Budgeting: Manage material budgets across multiple sites, ensuring accurate forecasting and allocation of resources. Supplier Performance Management: Oversee supplier performance for both direct and indirect materials, ensuring on-time delivery and quality standards are met. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency through the implementation of best practices and innovative solutions. Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration and effective communication. Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior leadership on supply chain performance, highlighting key metrics such as inventory turns, fill rates, and supplier performance. Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the supply chain organization, encouraging experimentation, learning from failures, and sharing best practices across sites. Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field; Master's degree preferred. Experience: 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Certifications: APICS CPIM or CSCP certification desirable. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
