UX Engineers operate at the intersection of design and engineering, partnering closely with Designers, Product Managers, and Full-stack Engineers to transform user needs into intuitive, accessible, and responsive experiences. Review and elevate AI-generated UI to ensure alignment with product, accessibility, and design system standards. Contribute reusable patterns and components that improve consistency and scalability across the platform. Identify and address UX issues through prototyping, implementation, testing, and iteration. Advocate for accessibility, usability, and experience quality throughout the product development lifecycle. Mentor and support teams on UX best practices, frontend craft, and AI-assisted UI development workflows. Preferred qualifications: Experience designing and building accessible, responsive web applications using React. Strong understanding of usability, interaction design, accessibility, and frontend UX best practices. Experience working with design systems and reusable component architectures. Ability to evaluate and improve workflows, interactions, and overall experience quality. Experience using AI-assisted development tools to prototype, build, or refine user interfaces. Strong visual, interaction, and product judgment. Experience collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and engineers. Minimum qualifications: 2–4 years of experience in UX engineering, frontend engineering, or a related field. Experience building accessible and responsive React applications. Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern React development practices. Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. Experience participating in code reviews and cross-functional collaboration. Demonstrated ability to translate design intent into polished, production-ready user experiences. Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices. This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.
