Our customer develops and markets pioneering communication systems that primarily operate in the official sector. The main focus of the customer lies on the development, production, and distribution of solutions for secure and error-free speech and data transmission. Especially fire departments and police forces rely on the products of our customer 'Made in Germany'.

We are looking for an experienced Lead System Architect (m/w/d) who will significantly shape the architecture of the system.

Tasks

• Responsibility for scalable end-to-end IoT architectures over Edge, Gateway, and Cloud
• Independent design of the system architecture
• Concept of robust, secure, and high-availability IoT communication solutions based on technical requirements
• Definition and integration of protocols, interfaces, and data models considering scalability, performance, and security-by-design
• Technical leadership and hands-on development of embedded, edge, and backend components, including code reviews and coaching
• Ensuring regulatory compliance and maintenance of sustainable architecture, system, and security documentation
